Hi, Is there anywhere a list of new funcions of winamp 3?

cause:

on winamp 2.xx i press the "," button in a playlist and i can search.
now i have to klick and klick ...
is this button not longer available or is it now another?

on winamp 2.xx i could play for example:
i download a music file with kazaa, then the program makes a
temporary file named downloadxxxxx.dat
i always loadet this dat files (which were in mp3 format, only named dat) into my playlist and i could hear the actually preview.
now in winamp3 i cant. of course i can load it into the list, but cant play it.
whatever, winamp 2 automatically knows the format of the file no
matter what the file was end (mp3,wav,123,xxx) now this dont work anymore. is there a option for activate?

edit: and apparently Winamp3 doesn't like renamed file extensions: ie mp3s need to be named *.mp3
