Disable Update Message?

Yes I searched for this. No find.

I am usiung Winamp 2.8.3 and choose to stay with it. I don't want winamp 3.0. However, I am constantly annoyed by "version 3.0 is available". How do I turn that off?

Preferences (ctrl+p) > setup > untick 'check for new versions of winamp at startup'
