Well, everytime I load a skin (any skin), and I close Winamp, the program studio.exe crashes.
I'm using W2K Pro on a P3 processor (MB is Soyo 6VBA). Winamp3 is brand new installation. I have no additional plugins installed. That's very annoying because I have to reload the skin again next time I open Winamp. I think this problem is not skin-related because it happens with ANY skin... I would send you the error log, but it's in Portuguese. It will be of no help for you guys. I thank you all in advance for your help, Sir McWendell |

Don't blame this issue 100% on Win2K. I'm running Win2K here at work and WA3 has always worked for me. I've run WA3_full, WA3.0b and WA3 build #491 (which I'm using now) and haven't had any problems at all. Well, not crashing errors anyway.
Sorry I can't help though

Well, thanx anyway.
Gonna try a couple things here... If I find anything, I'll post it here. Bye, McWendell |

i had the same problem, also on w2kp with version 3.0b, but i don't know if it's a w2k specific problem at all.
when having installed internationalisation support or (any?) locales (with me: german locales) studio.exe crashes using a skin. after i uninstalled winamp3 and reinstalled it (full installation) without internationalisation or locales, the skins appeared and winamp didn't crash. hope this helps you |
