CPU Hoggy

Hi there,

Winamp 3 taken too much of CPU, making my system applications not responding. Any workaround?

Get WA2 or even WMP! WA3 strikes me as being a great concept but a resource hogging piece of bloatware at the moment.

Cringer, if you don't have anything constructive to add please don't contribute, or you will be banned.

As for the CPU usage, there's not a huge amount of advice I can give, it is being improved in later builds. Make sure you're not running any complex skins.

Hmm.. Russ, it seems to me that Cringer was just voicing his opinion.. personally, I tend to share his opinion, as WA3 seems to lock up randomly and frequently on my computer, while WA2 and WMP work just fine.

Mebbe I was overreacting a bit there, too early in the morning (and too many flame posts around, hard to tell ).
