Portable Hard Drive MP3 suggestions

Hi People,

I am looking for advice on what portable mp3 players there are that have a hard drive and a line in recordable possibility. I really fancy the iPod but it has two severe drawbacks -- it does not have line in recording (they should really add this to their next model, if there is going to be one. they put that in it would kill off the minidisc think about it) and it does not port well with Winamp. What portable, recordable hard drive mp3-players look good, sound great and work well with Winamp, have storage at least like 1 GB and does not have a lot of weird other stuff like built in cameras and such. I want the heavy, heavy stuff! Please advice.

Thanks for any advice!

Creative Labs seem to have some nice hard drive players.

I like the iPod or the Sony MD players, but I'm not sure if I'll get any portable mp3 player as I'm happy with my CD player.

See what I'm listening too.

Any of the Nomad series are awesome players, well worth the price.

The Nomad Jukebox Zen seems to be up to my street. It says something about recording as optional on a remote. The Cnet review says there is no recording capabilites. Will someone point me to a more thorough, perhaps more recent review?

You can record to it, but you need the remote as Creative Say. I am yet to find one mind.
