Plugin for Winamp control by serial port.

I want to make a "Winamp Control Unit": a board with a few keys, on top of my stereo. These keys should control: play/pause, close winamp, prev, next, 5sec forward, 5sec backward, toggle shuffle mode.

The idea is 10 keys for activating 10 playlists and 7 control-buttons.

This can be done by using AKHotControl But this plugin is for the keyboard port.
-The plugin handles the winamp control.
-Windows handles the 10 playlist hotkeys.

Is there something like it for the serial port? I do not want a infrared remote. I want direct buttons.

I need a plugin for the Winamp control. And maybe a windows program for the 10 playlists, but I prefer not having any programs in my memory
