Data base software
I was wondering if any one knows where I can find a program that will export a winamp playlist to a Microsoft excel or access format. I use my computer and winamp to DJ parties, wedding receptions and so on. I would like to put together a data base of all my music but entering all 7000 artists and song titles will take forever.

You can export them to HTML natively with Winamp.
Winamp2: Press Ctrl+Alt+G Winamp3(dev. build 491 or higher): Go to 'Save Playlist As' and in the save dialog, choose 'Export to HTML'. |

Then you can write a script to parse the output and make a csv file. I think a coleague at work has written one you could use, it'll be in perl though.

that works but it doesn't break it down far enough. with that you get the artist and title together and then the run time. I'm looking for something that will break it down to Artist, title, and run time.

MPEG Audio Collection is the must have tool for audio collection. Support report exports in .txt, Excel .dif and HTML. Quality freeware.
