i can't get my avs editor window to close.
it just refuses to do so. can anyone help?

still refuses... no matter how many times i click on the "x" in the editor window, it refuses to close. and what's worse, is that if i restart winamp, the window returns and still won't close.

Ok. You have mistakingly "docked" the visualization studio in the AVS Editor. When Sawg referred to the preview window in the lower-left of the editor, perhaps you did not understand. It would be sort of a "reduced" size visualization... a rectangle. If double-clicking it doesn't work for you (but it SHOULD), then right-click and select "Undock from config". When that is done, you will have TWO windows open... the AVS Editor and the Visualization Studio, because it has now been "freed" from the Editor. At that point, you can close either window. The reason you can NOT close the Editor is because you misunderstood, or misread Sawg's post and never did what he said. I hope you understand my post here though.
