Try a simple search as I just did for you...

Google Search Results

But WHY are you asking this in the Winamp3 tech support forum???

Don't email or PM me concerning Winamp. Instead, either start a NEW TOPIC or post a REPLY in the appropriate thread in these forums. This will also benefit others who may have a similar question or problem. But before posting, please first Search the forums and read all FAQs and all Sticky threads.

Ya, a special edition 8MB buffer 120 GB HDD from Western Digital is only about $250.

The major point of online storage, as far as I can see, is being able to get to your stuff from other places, but you can set your computer up to let you do that from your own HD's nowadays.

Dialup would make it nearly impossible, but it would still take forever to upload and download from the online locker. And I have never seen an internet provider that doesn't let you share files with yourself.

I use online storage simply because:
A) My computer crashed once before and I don't hold it past it to do it again.
B) I have to have some image hosting to make thumbnails on my site.

Another good reason for online storage is for people like me who are musicians. I have a number of tunes I'd like to have somewhere online where I can link to them in different forums to have my work reviewed. The provider for my bands webpage (which will soon be removed) only allows small uploads (not MP3 size). I also have a number of "works in progress" or tunes I recorded that I am having technical problems with and having an online storage place that I can link to would be great so I could have other people that I know online who are in the music biz take a listen too and make suggestions (not too mention people I know who just want to hear my/our work).

By the way...no one ever answer the original question. Could someone please suggest an online locker or storage place for MP3's? I am -very- thankful for any suggestions!

Any old webhost. Spend some money, less than £50 a year will get you a fair ammount of storage and decent service. I've spent £80 for 200MB + database, php and all that. A no frills host that doesn't include the database and php etc will be a lot cheaper, esp if you go for onlt 50-100 MB.

If you're on broadband set up an FTP server, very easy to do and noone is likley to find it. Just password protect it and only share your music folder, jobs a good-un.
