How do I add my voice? (Use my microphone?)

I've read the part about voiceovers, and so on, but I don't quite understand it and when I did what it said, nothing happened. Can someone explain to me in a very simple way how I can talk like a normal DJ on my station?

quite simple , in you shoutcast scource, in your imput tab
Input device = sound card once it opens.

you will see like a mini mixer put these selections
music lever = -6db
bg music level = -11db
mic lever = -6db
fade time = 500ms

make sure it is locked so you dont have to press push to talk. your mic will always be open
