Digitally Imported

I goto Digitally Imported and I click on the link to the side to start under MP3 format 128kbps but a msg pops up and says

"C:\Documents and Settings\[edit]\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\eqahptge\trance128k[1].pls"
The specified path does not exist.

Check the path, and then try again.

I went to Temporary Internet Files and the Content.IE5 folder doesn't exist and I can't make the folder so how do I solve this problem? Anyone have any ideas?

I've got:
Windows XP Pro
IE6
Winamp 2.8

I know I could use WMP to play it which I do but I prefer to play it using Winamp. TIA

Empty your intenet cache
(Right click IE desktop icon -> properties -> Temp Internet Files -> delete)

It's got too full or corrupt.

Also go to: Settings (next to "delete" button)
and make sure the cache size isn't set too large.

The Content.IE5 folder DOES exist, but you can't see it by simply opening the Windows folder. Look for it in Windows Search (browse) and you'll see it in the results.

and afaik, WMP doesn't support .pls

I did as you said, still doesn't work. Could it do something with Content.IE5 and me using IE6? Also I found the trance128k.pls file in my Temporary Internet Files but still can't play it even from windows explorer. BTW I have hidden files and folders visible so shouldn't I be able to see the folder if it existed?

Found a fix

Hi,

I had the same problem with winamp 2. I tracked it down to winamp 3 that was previously installed. I uninstalled w2 and deleted all references to winamp and winamp 3 in registry (start/run/regedit). Then I installed winamp 2 again. It works! Plus, there is an added benefit - songs start playing much faster.

Good luck,

Chris
