need Winamp 2 program download

Hi! I had the old Winamp 2.24 I believe and really didn't have a problem with it. For some reason it went haywire last night so I decided to try the new one. I can't get it to do anything and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I tried redownloading a 2.24 but it skips really bad and I really would like to download one that doesn't skip and try to get my music to play again. Also, how do you access the files that the Winamp will play? Sometimes I can't get it to play certain ones. Thank you for your time.

You may want to upgrade. 2.81 is the latest Winamp2 version.
You can find it here.

Oops, kinda read your post a lil' too fast.

Try applying the Winamp2 Update. Make sure you have Winamp 2.81 to apply the update though.
