Transparency using pink
I've waited for this forever, and I would still like it to be implemented. What I'm talking about is the pink color rgb(255,0,255) or #FF00FF to become transparent, no matter where it is used. On images that are the windows's background, it would act as an *easy* region to make the transparency, and on the rest it would just make the bmp right under visible. Like for example, in the equalizer, the vertical bars could be 2 pixels wide, and the window background could have a gradient from one side to the other witout any problems.

If you really don't want to do the work of the reigions, just donwload a program to do it for you. be forewarned though, i don't know how high the functionality of them are.
[EDIT] here's a link to one - http://www.1001winampskins.com/winam...ls_region.html |

If the region.txt would work with everything (playlist, volume, balance, equalizer graphics, seek bar, ect.) then it wouldn't be a problem, but the only thing region.txt can do it the main shape of the main and equalizer window.

Your idea is not so bad but the only thing that it needs it's that we put the value of the color used in the skin in a txt file to make winamp recongnize the color and made transparency because some skins are in pink and will cause problems if the transprency is always in pink.
This kind of transparency could be more beautiful and more easyer do to and to modify. |
