yeah they do have similaries in their construction and button shapes. Maybe another overpainted job, or simply 'inspired by'.


I've seen quite a few that look similar but aren't considered rips. check out these two....
(everyone knows how to play Snap, right?)

The sad thing about that is that S-mix was the one featured...

I love Nemish - great skin. The similarity I see in MarinAmp is the just slightly blurry realism, and maybe some similar layout ideas, but...how do you play Snap?

I always thought those two were very similar in design layout and graphics style. I think MarinAmp is some kind of mutant off-spring from Nemish..


Snap is a simple children's picture card game. Both players deal their cards alternately, if you see two cards with the same picture and shout "snap!" before your opponent, you win the cards. Its challenging stuff for under 5s

Please help my brain...

I saw this yesterday. It's a nice skin, but I can't help thinking I've seen those Cbuttons somewhere before in this forum... I just performed a search to jog my memory, but my memory seemed to collapse in a panting heap after the first few laps.

Do parts of this skin look familiar to anyone else, or is this just one of those stereo type skins that, like metal skins, spawn thousands of not-really-rips-but-skins-that-are-stylishly-similar?

I've seen those buttons for sure. I went through my skin collection, and I couldn't find them anywhere, except for the ones in Ray Jayze's "Titan Envoy", whcih are similar but not exactly the same. But I'm sure I've seen near-identical ones...but, as you said, these have probably been in a whole lot of skins, rather than just one.

Kalak by Razor are also very similar, but not enough to warrant ripping...

Hmm... I love that skin. The volume is just so well done.
