Hello,

Is it possible to play SVCD files (*.MPG) with winamp?
With the standard winamp it is not possible, is there
a (free) codex to allow me play those films?

Like usual: thanx in advance !

Perhaps you were unaware of this but read this thread.

Here's another tip, many people use those very annoying Codec packs, stay away from them (especially nemo) as they can cause problems when you upgrade single codecs).

The upside down problem is caused by an old outdated bug in DivX 3.11 and is usually caused by installing an older version of Nimo.

Yeah. After reading some stuff on the Doom9 forums Nimo Codec Pack was removed from the FAQ.
DJEgg also posted all other references in that thread where most codecs can now be acquired from, so use those links now instead.

I've found it very hard to find a decent MPEG2 DirectShow codec which works with SVCDs (haven't managed to get winamp3 or windows media player to play some), I'd advise using WinDVD or PowerDVD if you can't get it to work.
