When i click connect it says its connecting but it never connects

You have the DNAS up and running as well right? Follow along the 15 steps mentioned here: http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....threadid=90040 to verify you have everything.

NM i found it but the under the input tab when i select winamp the input lvl bars show nothing even though im playing music through the winamp

i can leave winamp selected in the drop down list and every once and a while it will just start working and then stop
