you can't really, the only way you could is to broadcast from each seperatley.

Yhea this is something I`ve had problems with too (friends with RealPlayer not able to connect to my winamp server)
Seems to me like there`s a lot of people out there with Realplayer....is there a way to broadcast with realplayer and winamp from the same machine? Peace |

Real Player supports SHOUTcast streams just fine. Unless they have an OLD ass version I don't see why there would be a problem. Do they get any errors?

Well my guys were getting errors along the lines of "realplayer cannot play this type of file" or something like that....
I`ve find a way round it tho (interesting what you can pick up on this forum when you scout around). I`ve made two links on my site...one points to my shoutcast server (as normal) for winamp users.....the other link points to a .ram file with the url to my server (for realplayer users)....this seems to work a lot better altho I don`t know why...perhaps because the realplayer users are being redirected thru the .ram file it seems to make it work better....have`nt had a chance to test it properly yet so don`t know if this is a good fix or not. Peace Stee P.S If you`re going to try this and did`nt understand what I was saying (cos I do drone on like a prat sometimes) then just send me a mail to dj.blaze@ntlworld.com and I`ll talk you through what I did step-by-step |
