Assuming a Rhapsody subscription from Listen.com, I think the path is something like the following:
Rhapsody server (probably some flavor of WMA) ---> Internet ---> Rhapsody Client on my computer (wave output) ---> Windows mixer device/volume control ("mute all" on playback, "What U hear" on record) ---> WinAmp/SHOUTcast Source plugin ("input from sound card") ---> SHOUTcast DNAS ---> Lansonic (listening on port 8000 of networked computer, D-A converter, analog output) ---> stereo line-in jacks
That's a lot of steps, but it does work. So the question is whether WinAmp converts wave back to MP3 before sourcing signal to DNAS, and if so, whether there is a reasonable way to skip any of these steps.
