Is it possible?
I am wondering if it is possible to have 2 sound cards and run 2 streams from 1 PC.
I have a dedicated P2/450 PC with 128megs running a single stream on port:8000, and server... Can I add a 2nd Sound card and 2nd stream on port:8002 ? If so, do I have to run 2 copies of WinAmp somehow? Tom www.K1TJ.com |

You should be able to run two separate stations on the same soundcard.
Either check the option for Winamp to allow multiple instances, or install aWinamp/DSP combo in another directory. If your single soundcard borks at this idea, then you can pipe one or more of the streams to the null output. The final stumbling block may be your codec. I believe both LAME and Fraunhoffer Professional allow multiple streams. Fraunhoffer advanced, however, does not. If your using the 1.8.2x DSP, then |
