url instead of ip address

Hey, how would I do this? I have bought a domain name and whatnot, can I use that instead of giving out my ip address? Or I heard about a place where you could have zapto.yadda.org

ort can someone direct me to the site on where to sign up? thanks!

Your domain needs to have it's DNS A records point to the ip of your DNAS. For further information, send inquiries to your registrar.

You can get a static name for a static or dynamic ip at http://www.no-ip.com or one of the other Dynamic DNS Services (thanks Sawg

thanks, that was exactly what I was looking for

. One thing though, I have my mic hooked up, and since I don't have a soundblaster I chose "stereo mix" instead of "what you hear" And I get both... but it sounds like its trying to input from my mic... at any rate it sounds like complete crap.

I have a hercules fortissmo III if anyone can give me input...
