service full, disconnecting
Within the past few days, I've suddenly started seeing things like this:
<02/09/03@11:39:14> [dest: 216.235.81.4] connection closed (95 seconds) (UID: 25)[L: 0]{Bytes: 16384}(P: 0) <02/09/03@11:39:26> [dest: 216.235.81.4] starting stream (UID: 26)[L: 1]{A: WinAmp (Nanocaster/2.5.5)}(P: 0) <02/09/03@11:40:21> [dest: 216.235.81.4] service full, disconnecting <02/09/03@11:40:41> [dest: 216.235.81.4] service full, disconnecting <02/09/03@11:40:57> [dest: 216.235.81.4] connection closed (92 seconds) (UID: 26)[L: 0]{Bytes: 8192}(P: 0) <02/09/03@11:41:39> [dest: 216.235.81.4] starting stream (UID: 27)[L: 1]{A: WinAmp (Nanocaster/2.5.5)}(P: 0) <02/09/03@11:44:02> [dest: 216.235.81.4] connection closed (143 seconds) (UID: 27)[L: 0]{Bytes: 617594}(P: 0) <02/09/03@11:45:17> [dest: 216.235.81.4] starting stream (UID: 28)[L: 1]{A: WinAmp (Nanocaster/2.5.5)}(P: 0) and <02/11/03@10:08:28> [dest: 216.235.81.4] starting stream (UID: 34)[L: 1]{A: WinAmp (Nanocaster/2.5.5)}(P: 0) <02/11/03@10:09:23> [dest: 216.235.81.4] service full, disconnecting <02/11/03@10:09:43> [dest: 216.235.81.4] service full, disconnecting <02/11/03@10:09:59> [dest: 216.235.81.4] connection closed (92 seconds) (UID: 34)[L: 0]{Bytes: 8192}(P: 0) <02/11/03@10:10:38> [dest: 216.235.81.4] starting stream (UID: 35)[L: 1]{A: WinAmp (Nanocaster/2.5.5)}(P: 0) I'm live / relay to Live365. I've searched the docs and the forums, and can't find a clear definition of what that error message means. I get the impression it means Live365 isn't being able to get in to me! Is it possible that it is disconnecting and reconnecting so fast that there is a "ghost" connection that is left behind and prevents it from reconnecting (I have it set to a max user of 1)? If not, what's going on? Should I even be worried? |

Looks like you have a full show - how many listeners are you set for?

looks like it, you might try setting the server to allow 2 listeners just make sure it's not set to publish itself on the shoutcast yp so that your bandwidth isn't consumed by a real listener.

That's what I'll do, then... next time I see it empty (which is happily being less & less frequently) I'll reboot with the change in the config log.
I love my ISP, I love my ISP, I love my ISP... *SIGH* |
