Thank you for your reply! Unfortunately this did not solve my problem - the WinAmp process indeed sets to "High" when you play an MP3 file and resets to "Normal" when you stop it. This would be perfect for most of the users, of course, but it is not very convenient in my case. I guess that I will eventually end using 2 WinAmps - one for the Shoutcast source and one for playing anything else. I suppose I will have to play with this a bit to get it working right.
