help with shoutcast / talking on radio
i setup so the INPUT tab on Input for shoutcast it's Soundcard Input, for when it's on Winamp (recommended) I can't talk (or i have no options to talk). The problem though when i have it on Soundcard Input, people can hear my type and breathe even though I'm not holding down on the talk button. I use a headset as my microphone/speakers.
for my radio .. i want to play music .. and talk every so often (do shoutouts) .. what can i use to do this? |

i already went there :|
i already went there .. and it didn't help
even though i have everything setup correctly .. i can see on the input tab where it has the input levels .. without "push to talk" or "lock" on .. i see the levels going up because i'm breathing into the microphone this is my setup .. i have a usb headset (plantronics dsp 100) .. thats what i'm using to do voice overs .. i'm on windows xp professional (and none of those pictures on the other forum have what i have) i use a soundblaster live mp3+ i tried to setup some of those options .. but my friend could still hear me breathe and talk .. and i didn't even have to press the talk button on input. |

The DSP will only control the mixers for your soundcard, since your using a USB mic you would have to adjust the mixer manually or use a mic that plugs into your soundcard.
