Scxml
OK, here´s one more of those one million questions about current song to be displayed on website... I have downloaded SCXML (php) and done all the configurations necessary, then downloaded it in ASCII to my webpage. Next what to do? I hear all this about Apache and PHP Support. Is this some extension/program you need to install (I´m running Windows) to your computer to get it all together?

Yes, the webserver needs php support. Are you running your own or using fortunecity?
If your own, go to http://httpd.apache.org/download.cgi and download/install Apache 1.3.27 (or take your chances with Apache 2.0.44). Then go to http://www.php.net/downloads.php and downlaod/install either the php installer or zip package (I suggest zip package). PHP isn't difficult to attach to Apache. If fortunecity, ask them if they have php support. The link you posted returns a Cannot find server or DNS Error. |

Re:
OK, thanks. I´m running web server at Fortunecity so I guess I´ll have to sak them then. If they don´t support PHP is there anything to do, or must I change host?
Btw, my DNAS is down yes, it´s only running at tuesday-thursday and saturday. |
