The %d is an optional wildcard used for the bitrate of yor stream.
Example: You want to use [directory]myIntro.mp3 as the intro file. Then your DNAS setting would be IntroFile=[directory]myIntro.mp3 Example: You run two bitrates, a 128kbps and a 56kbps and want to use [directory]myIntro128.mp3 and [directory]myIntro56.mp3 as the intro file respectively. Then your DNAS setting would be IntroFile=[directory]myIntro%d.mp3 for each DNAS. The 128kbps DNAS would use [directory]myIntro128.mp3 and the 56kbps DNAS would use [directory]myIntro56.mp3 Remember, the intro file needs to be recorded at the same sample rate (e.g. 22kHz) and channels (e.g. mono) as the stream format. If those don't match, expect 'Bad Things'. For reference: Check out the results from a SHOUTcast forum search on 'intro file'. Look for a post by sonicclub titled: Intro File won't work, help! What about if i am running a clustered server mix between nt and unix? which conf or ini files count for the intro file? or do i have to individually specify on each server the path?

Introfiles are only set locally, meaning that each instance of the DNAS will need to specify an introfile.
