Dj'ing, 2 soundcards

ok, i figured out the answer to my problem. go under sound/media properties under the control panel and look under the audio tab. i chose Soundcard1 as the playback device (which is the monitor) and Soundcard2 (which is the broadcast). go to volume controls and go to the record options for Soundcard2 and set it to What You Hear.
about your problem, i would go under the volume controls and look at your record mixer. checkbox on Front Speakers instead of Mic or What You Hear. If you don't have those, try updating your soundcard drivers. This way, it will only broadcast the front outputs and let you monitor from the rear.
