Check your yellow pages and make sure you are added to the directory.

Link bot:
DNAS link: http://yourDNASip:yourDNASport Listen link: http://yourDNASip:yourDNASport/listen.pls Replace yourDNASip with the ip of the DNAS (SHOUTcast server) and yourDNASport with the DNAS port (default is 8000) Also, machines on the same lan as the DNAS (you) need to use the lan ip of the DNAS to connect/listen. Machines not on the same lan as the DNAS (the rest of the world) need to use the real, world-visible ip of the DNAS to connect/listen. See RFC1918 for more information. Scroll down and look for the section titled: 3. Private Address Space How to find your ip address (Part I). How to find your ip address (Part II). Finally, you can get a static name, such as foo.bar.com (not as cool as that, though ) from http://www.no-ip.com or one of the other myriad of Dynamic DNS Services. Then, your links would be: DNAS link: http://foo.bar.com:yourDNASport Listen link: http://foo.bar.com:yourDNASport/listen.pls |

http://privatelee.no-ip.com:8000 -> Cannot find server or DNS Error
[edit] Adding yp information: "yp added me" means your station information (station name, bitrate, maximum number listeners, current number listeners, currently playing song, ...) has been added to the SHOUTcast yp (yellow pages) directory. "yp touched" means your station information (station name, bitrate, maximum number listeners, current number listeners, currently playing song, ...) has been updated in the SHOUTcast yp directory. It can take up to 15 minutes after the first "yp touched" message before your station appears from a SHOUTcast yp search. [/edit] |

unfortunately, i even can't get touched by yb.shoutcast.com. The problem is i m behind the NAT, Router. I m using a pc which connected directly to internet, the strange things is even i activate the no-ip program, and shoutcast DNAs. Just friend in my LAN connection can hear the station, but not for those in the internet. How can I get through for people in internet can listen to me? Must I pay for getting the static IP? Its keep telling me that http://privatelee.no-ip.com:8000/listen.pls are invalid DNS server. It means the white page with "page can't found" always goin out! Oh my god. I m very curious, why other people can broadcast the radio with the invalid http server name too? I checked the shoutcast.com yellowpage.

The DNAS tells the SHOUTcast yp (yellow pages) that you are streaming.
The yp, in turn, verifies your stream. In your case, the yp cannot connect to your stream to verify so you will not be listed in the SHOUTcast yp directory at http://www.shoutcast.com nor is it likely other folks will be able to connect/listen. Are the necessary ports open in your firewall and are they being forwarded to the DNAS machine? Check out http://www.radiotoolbox.com/cantheygetin and see if the reported information there helps. Additionally, check out these posts: http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....hreadid=116786 http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....hreadid=112997 http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....hreadid=112923 |
