minidisc

Does anybody no if its possible to copy music from a minidisc player to the computers hard drive - to be put on winamp?

don't think it is possiable, since sony does not like people stealing their format.

Actually you might do it if you just plug the output of your minidisk to the line in of your sound card and then record it with some kind of software. Then just encoded in mp3's...
Its not the most automatic way or the less quality loss way but it will work...

I'm pretty sure you can copy your files back off your minidisc player....just if they've been copied in/converted to any of Sony's formats (such as Altrac-3 or whatever u call it) then no, you can't play it....(yet......)
