HTTP: Can't connect (401) ??!
Please help!
I'm running a Shoutcast server on a LAN. And everytime I try to connect to it (http://192.168.1.3:8000), I get the error stated in the subject. I looked at the SHOUTcast Server Monitor and get this:/03@23:08:11> [dest: 192.168.1.2] server unavailable, disconnecting What am I doing wrong? I've looked thru that one sticky FAQ for help but didn't see anything. I can post my config file if that will help. Thanks in advance! |

Never mind! I have it working within my LAN.
Just need to see if it will work outside my LAN tomorrow when I head to work.

Remember, machines on the same lan as the DNAS (you) need to use the lan ip of the DNAS to connect/listen.
Machines not on the same lan as the DNAS (the rest of the world) need to use the real, world-visible ip of the DNAS to connect/listen. |

Don't forget you will need to forward port 8000 on your gateway device.
