server only on lan
I've opened a server and started the winamp to broadcast music. But nobody can hear the music out of my LAN.
Have I to change anything in the config? I hope on your help! |

Did you forward ports 8000-8001 (or whichever you're using) through your firewall to your serving (DNAS) computer?

Any errors in the DNAS log?
Please post the link(s) you are trying. Remember, machines on the same lan as the DNAS (you) need to use the lan ip of the DNAS to connect/listen. Machines not on the same lan as the DNAS (the rest of the world) need to use the real, world-visible ip of the DNAS to connect/listen. |

thanks for the help, but I have tried already to connect with my "world-visible" ip and I mean it's a problem with my router and its own firewall.
Once more thanks for your intrest. |
