multi output devices

OK, let's try this one,
I'm building a machine to archive my CD's and have the ability to play them in a choice of rooms. I can run multiple instances of Winamp and assign each instance to a particular output. (I have one on-board sound card and two USB soundboxes. This gives me the ability to play three different tunes in three different rooms. (it works fine). I intend to add more USB devices at a later date.
My problem arises when we have a party or just need to play a single tune in all the rooms. Can I route a single instance of Winamp to several output streams simultaneously? If I pick the same MP3 from several Winamp instances I can forsee sharing violations not to mention problems with syncronisation.
Incidentally, I have inadvertantly played several tunes through one Winamp at the same time - what a noise! Why on earth is this possible? Who the hell would want to listen to that?
Hope you can help me out.
Cheers!

Output Stacker (use multiple output plugins together)
http://classic.winamp.com/plugins/de...ponentId=86033

You might need to make copies of DirectSound Output plugin,
eg. ...winamp\plugins\out_ds.dll = original
copy to out_ds2.dll | out_ds3.dll
Or use WaveOut as one of the options
or one of the other DS ouput plugins which come included in the DS update pack

Note: there might be a newer version of Output Stacker available at the author's website. Check the documentation or "about" button for url/details.

Also note that I've never personally used this plugin, so I hope you can get it work ok . . . ie. I can't help you any further if you can't.
I have used John Adcock's Output Splitter, but this only allows two simultaneous Output plugins, whereas it looks like you need 3.
