If you read the Winamp3 FAQ and searched you should know this, but you should try updating. First download and install Winamp3 Update (yes, it is official). Don't stop there. Make sure you have the latest version of DirectX. Also, update both your soundcard and video card drivers from the manufacturers homepage, not your Windows 9x/2K/XP disc. Bad drivers account for almost all audio problems with Winamp3.

You can download/install the official wa3update patch by either clicking here > wa3update or by clicking on the link in red above.

* Note: Winamp3 must not be running when applying the patch. So, first close Winamp3 and then apply the patch.
