ASP vs PHP
I just got the xml stats to work at my website, but it´s ASP based and it seems like ages before the page loads. Would a PHP based script by any chance speed things up, and if so, where can I find a host supporting apache/php for free?

well plenty of hosts provide PHP support with there hosting packages, if you are looking for a free hosting solution with php installed as part of the free package there are tons of those too you just have to do a little leg work to find them.
PHP is not neccessarily a faster solution, I am not sure why you say that your pages load slow but more then likely it is related to the host you are using right now, if not that then your ASP code could be poorly optimized. -Jay | Radio Toolbox.com |

Re:
Well, I noticed that compared to the other pages at my website, the one with the asp script showing current song works very slow. It should be the script and not the host (brinkster) that is the problem then. I´ll check in to it, but I´m not to sure how to optimize the script though?

PHP on an apache server is technically faster than ASP on the same setup (however, ASP on IIS is faster than PHP...)

I´m gonna try PHP. Just going to find a host though. I´ve checked and there are quite a lot of these. Any recommendations?
