External Fountain Plug-In
For anyone who is willing to help-
I'm trying to make a fountain that goes along with music, one like the fountain at the Belagio Hotel in Vegas but on a much smaller scale (5'x2') and that is not pre-programmed to follow only a few songs. What I'd like to do is use winamp output different ranges of frequencies, just like from the equalizer, to individual transducing valves. For example, frequencies between 0-60 Hz will output a variable voltage which will depend on the song itself, and this voltage will be dedicated to one valve. Ranges 61-170 to another valve, and so forth. I'm a student studying mechanical engineering so I'm not too worried about the mechanical hardware, such as valves and compressors, but I don't know too much about computer programming or hardware to do this. I know basic IF, THEN statements, and it seems like that's all I'll need. I read that some one was able to make a little light show that went along with music using their comport, a serial cable, and some LED's. I'd like to do the same but with valves. I would appreciate any help, information, advice, programs, leads, anything! Please let me know if you think this is possible. |

can't you get one of those lights ones, but instead of using LED's, attach them to relays, which trigger the pump circuits?

Yeah I second that. USe the LED/ COM output plugin and hook it up to pumps etc.
