EXTM3U - directories
I've seen a lot of discussion, and some things seem to get close to what I am after.... but since I'm not sure, I'll post my whole Winamp 2.71 question. Here goes.
I have all my mp3's sorted into various folders, but they're all under d:\mp3. I hit Shift+L to load that entire directory, recursively. It surely enough does add all those files in all those directories into my playlist. However, Winamp's playlist window only adds EXTM3U info for entries that are visible in the window. It stops looking through the songs' ID3 tags when it gets to the bottom of the visible portion of the list. Is there a way to force Winamp to not stop digging through all the ID3's? I turned on the option to "Sort files on load" but that doesn't seem to do the trick. Does anyone else here know what I am talkin about? Am I a lunatic? Do I need to be more verbose? Thank you for your time. |

ctrl+p > options > read titles on > load (rather than display)
