newbie needs help

please help,
how do you put up whats playing so tthat listeners can
see now playing " "
with my station people only see the station description

Normally it is default that people see the title and artist. But there could be a few thinks wrong:

1. In the Config File of the Server is something wrong. Go to: TitleFormat= and make sure it looks like: TitleFormat=MY RADIONAME: %s

2. Go to the Plugin in Winamp -> Output -> Yellowpages. make sure Enable Title Updates is checked!

3. There could be a problem with an other plugin. I installed some other plugins and then the Title display wasn't working. So check the plugins and delete them if it still wont work after these steps.

Grab the XML from the DNAS and display to your liking.

Check out the Sticky post titled:

Scroll down a bit and look for the section titled:
General SHOUTcast Information -> SHOUTcast ToolBox (All sorts of nifty add-ons for SHOUTcast)

The PHP based XML Parser comes ready to customize.
