192.168.7.106 is a private lan ip and will only work for machines on your lan. Please supply your real, world-visible ip.
DNAS link: http://yourDNASip:yourDNASport Listen link: http://yourDNASip:yourDNASport/listen.pls Replace yourDNASip with the ip of the DNAS (SHOUTcast server) and yourDNASport with the DNAS port (default is 8000) Also, machines on the same lan as the DNAS (you) need to use the lan ip of the DNAS to connect/listen. Machines not on the same lan as the DNAS (the rest of the world) need to use the real, world-visible ip of the DNAS to connect/listen. See RFC1918 for more information. Scroll down and look for the section titled: 3. Private Address Space How to find your ip address (Part I). How to find your ip address (Part II). Finally, you can get a static name, such as foo.bar.com (not as cool as that, though ) from http://www.no-ip.com or one of the other myriad of Dynamic DNS Services. Then, your links would be: DNAS link: http://foo.bar.com:yourDNASport Listen link: http://foo.bar.com:yourDNASport/listen.pls |

Is switching to a different ISP an answer?
http://200.140.66.71:8000 -> Cannot find server or DNS Error Any error in the DNAS log? Are the necessary ports open in your firewall and are they being forwarded to the DNAS machine? Check out http://www.radiotoolbox.com/cantheygetin and see if the reported information there helps. |

Here's my error in the DNAS:
<03/16/03@14:54:41> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave error (nak) <03/16/03@14:54:41> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave extended error (Cannot see your station/computer (IP: 200.140.66.71:8000) from the Internet, disable Internet Sharing/NAT/firewall/ISP cache (Connection refused)) My error on the page you told me to check: Reason Given: Connection refused More about this error: This essentially means that the port is open to the internet but has no services associated with it. There is no firewall protection on this port. Switching to a different ISP is my only choice. Or not. Does Live365 need a firewall-less IP number? I'm considering hosting my station there... |

![]() For Live365, they will be your DNAS (although they don't use a DNAS). Their network(s) are properly configured to allow incoming traffic. |

That's good. I think I'll try the Premium Service (individual). All the essential stuff and not too expensive. But I also have one more weapon. My ISP has online service and now is the time to use it.
Thanks for the help!P.S: I'm listening to your station and it rules! |

I don't have a router, It's my ISP firewall. That's why I'm gonna use the Online service.
