Desktop .mp3
Hey,
I have a problem with Winamp3. I put my fav. mp3s on my desktop and let them open with winamp, but when they do, the song doesnt play, i still have to load it. its like opening winamp! Can sum1 help? |

There are other ways to do this, but you can do the following:
1. Hold down the shift key. 2. Right click on the mp3 file. 3. Move down to the option "Open with..." and left click on it. 4. Scroll down the list of applications and find either Studio or Winamp (depending on which build of Winamp 3 you have). 5. Select one of them. 6. If you want those files to be played by Winamp ALL THE TIME, check the box that says "always use this program". Your file should open with Winamp 3. There are ways withing Windows Control Panel to do this, but I'm not as familiar with them. HTH (Hope this helps) Lou |

nope
sorry it didnt work it still jus sez "Nullsoft Winamp3 version 3.0" in the box where the song info is supposed to b.

Try this
In Winamp > Ctrl+P (for preferences) > System > Playlists > uncheck "Enqueue as default action" (in the lower right corner) If that does not help post back with some system specs Windows Version Sound Card DirectX Version Good Luck!
