the movie its self is not based on eminem's life, it just has some parts that are simalyer thats all. And i think for a first time acter in a movie, he did really well. Its a good movie, and his songs kick ass!!!!!!!!

the character is very similar to him in many ways, and the story is loosly based off his life. Some of the things that happened are exactly as they happened in Em's life, some are similar, and some are totaly made up. Same goes for the characters.
