HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden

Since the last hour, the server gave the following message:

yp.shoutcast.com gave error (HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden)

Can someone please explane what this mean.

It means we r blocked from being listed on SHOUTcast.

I started getting the HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden on 3/26 at 2:03:54 AM That must be the time the server started having the problems. We are not listed in the shoutcast directory but the stream works fine. I still have 11 users connected and tha is after I restarted the server. One other problem is the server will not accept the now playing song from the DSP plugin. But people can still go to your own personal site like mine http://stevekraft.com/radio and click a link and their listening to your stream. But you need a website to advertise your stream. I'm sure the Nulsoft people are working on their servers to correct the problem.

I panicked and thought my station was shut down. But after reading your post, I checked and everything is running fine--I'm, like everyone else, just not being listed at the Shoutcast site.

I guess this will teach everyone not to solely rely on the Shoutcast site to bring in listenners.

This eases some stress. Thank you.

NO problem. I have posted my URL on my radio page since day one (over 3 years) and i do get some traffic from my site. I have noticed that listeners are also comming from other services besides winamp. So it seems our shoutcast streams are listed on others services.
