I Need Help Please!!

Hey ...this had never happened before. I cant play an mp3 with winamp,because for 3 seconds its ok after that I only hear alot of static and a whole big sound..and the music is gone,then I foward the song and it will play normal again,after 3 seconds again the sound comes back. It cant be my mp3's because I played them on another player and everything sounds fine and normal.. Can someone please help me? Thank you

go to prefrences --> output.

if you are at waveout, go to directsound and vice versa.

not sure if this will work...its just a guess
