Spent 30 minutes trying to setup shoutcast

I setup the following

--password ******
--port 8000

--mp3 folder location(in the content folder)

Ok so I visit my ip and see the http server running.

I click on listen and it doesn't run...

The only further thing I read is that when winamp first plays it makes a playlist(PLS)....

Well let me tell you..... your instruction SUCKS!!!!

You mean winamp is to play while the server is running?
Does winamp feed the server? Why cant you merge winamp into shoutcast???? So far service is still unavailble....

So far I think I have it 99.9% correct.

ok so anyway your FAQ says to:

Answer: You need to provide SHOUTcast with a stream to broadcast. This is done by setting up Winamp with a playlist, playing audio, and using the SHOUTcast Source Plug-in for Winamp to send a stream to a SHOUTcast DNAS.

Where in the fucking manual does it show how to do this?!!?!?!?!?

Your person you hired to write these instructions is really a retard.

Winamp needs the soutcast source plugin....... WHY THE HELL ISNT IT INSTALLED When I install shoutcast!!!!! duhhhhh you make it so hard for users......... I am sure I'll fix it myself but

This is really spotty reading ...........
I think I should rewrite the shoutcast instructions.... and
post teh clean version on my website.....
Dont get me wrong I love your free server.... cant gripe about anything thats free.....

Hey there........

Heres are my simple instruction to get it working which the shoutcast does not tell you....

A. downlaod shoutcast server at:
B. Download winamp2
C. download Winamp shoutcast dna plugin.

Thats all but it gives all this techno mumbo jumbo.....
