winamp 2 skinning
I have the parts to a winamp 2 skin that are painted but they are still seperated into the basic elements of the skin. How do i put it together so the skin is one complete unit?

if u have all the parts u should be able to zip them and place it in ur skins dir and be sure to rename zip to wsz before releasing it wsz is just a renamed zip but its what the site uses

In simpler terms...
Put all the bitmaps and text files in their own folder (like winamp\skins\skinname). Open the folder and press ctrl+a to select all. If you have winzip installed you should be able to just right click on one of the files (while theyre all selected) and choose 'add to zip'. Save the zip to your winamp\skins directory. Winamp can read .zip files, so if you arent interested in submitting i'd suggest leaving the extension as zip, otherwise rename it to .wsz If you cant see the extension when you try to rename it, you'll need to go to tools > folder options > view tab > and untick 'hide extensions for known file types'. |
