Power usage.

Hello,

Now this might sound kinad dumb, but I must ask this, what is the best way to save power while shoutcasting. I mean I know I can turn off the monitor, but I mean, what else do you guys do to reduce the electric bill. I'm sorry if this isn't the place to ask, but it seemed liek the most logical place to post. Again, any help would be appreciated.

If the machine is on, then it's consuming power.
Turning off the monitor is a good start.

Well i realize that much Fester. I guess I should of been more specific in my question, I mean waht other ways can I get the power usage down without going into standby mode, since that obviously will drop my connection.

turn off the sound output in winamp using the Null output plugin, besides that there is nothing else you can do, the hard-drives and fans are next on the list of power consumers and you need those.
