Gracenote can bite my... (WA3)
Since Gracenote sucks(and screwed a lot of users out of all their hard work), it may be a better idea to either allow the user to switch CDDB servers(which I believe is a big no-no in Gracenote's ULA), or just completely change over to FreeDB (www.freedb.org).

Yes. I too would greatly prefer freedb.
Also, I guess this is somewhat related: I am a nitpicky control freak, and I like to be able to edit CD track info manually in the file info box, but I can't do this anymore.

Diddo that. Why on earth would a freeware software like WA use a commercial lamer like gracenote when there's freedb around... eludes me. One more vote for freedb.

With WA2 there was a way to install a plug-in which allowed freedb use. Unfortunately that workaround doesn't seem to be allowed for Winamp3. I'm thinking of going back to WA2 as a result -- the other motivation is that the displayed playlist is almost always bogus -- too few or too many songs listed. Anyone else get this? (Oh, I'm using Build #488, btw)
