better track/artist lookup options

either option on db to use - like freedb etc - or alternative comp to do this via other dbs.
Also, options to send through authentication proxy...
... unless there is already a plugin/comp to do this that I haven't found?

I'm guessing that since Nullsoft/Winamp has gone to bed with Gracenote (the corporation which has taken control of CDDB and all access to it) they're going to want to get their money's worth.....and that means NO ACCESS EVER to any alternate lookup.

Unless it's coded as a plug-in by a third party, that is.

That's their problem...

Seems a lot of issues are sorted by third-party plugins, but a simple wake-up to the proxy authentication issue would be a big help, since surely it can only benefit WA users who are stuck in this situation, and if Nullsoft have sold their bodies and souls to Gracenote (as it sounds) , /they/ should want some value too...
