Loading Skins

Hi all,

First time convert to Winamp - Ver 2.8 - - Very Cool
Sorry - - I've searched for the simplest of questions here & can't find it.

I'm having trouble loading Winamp skins.

I'm clicking the upper left corner of default winamp module. . .
Selecting - Skins > Skin Browser > Set skins directory . .
Setting skins directory to ..Winamp\Skins -
I've downloaded a few skins to the ..Winamp\Skins directory - but they are not showing up mon the Preferences(skins)window.

What am I doing wrong ??

Appreciate any help.

u are most likely downloading winamp 3 skins by mistake

Thanks - - I'll check to ensure I get Ver 2 skins.

UPDATE

That was it - guess I'll stick to Ver 2 skins.
Or consider Winamp 3
