Song Sequencing

when I play an audio CD in WinAMP it rearranges the song order. This is very annoying when I listen to soundtracks. I just want the CD to play in order. I don't want them sequenced by name or file size or any other criteria except track 1, track 2, etc.

I've read thru the forums and saw several posts on this subject but I never saw this exact question or an answer that seemed to apply to my situation since Im not dealing with a "playlist".... btw, I tried to create a playlist from a CD and it too was re-sequenced. Any ideas for me?

Are you talking about the order they are played in or the order they are listed in the playlist?

I'm talking about the order that songs are played back. When I play a CD on my PC using WinAMP the songs are not played back in the same order that they are listed on the CD.

I don't understand what a "playlist" would have to do with playing a CD that you just want to listen to in track order. As I mentioned in my original post, I tried creating a playlist without success. Songs were still resequenced.

Right click on Winamp -> go to Options -> uncheck 'Shuffle'
