MD record with SYNC mode !! no way to work yet!
Hi
I find no way to use Winamp record songs to MD with SYNC mode! (using optical cable to record the sounds to MD!!) and I am not able to find any plug in for it as well, I think this is a simple feature which should be include in winamp, just a suggustion. ^^ RealOne Gold work with SYNC. i find winamp is a very good tools and lot of cool plug-in to work with! but in the component page, it's like abit not organized. hard to find somthing~ need to take lots of time! Suggustion: Make table chart for different plug-in (DSP/effect, input, output, or more and else) each table chart has name, short description, rated, downloaded times, else without a BIG PHOTO(it save download time, for non ADSL/cable user!) then people can click it in and browser more details of the Plug-in if they want it! here is a link about using PC record MD http://www.minidisc.org/part_links.html#mp3 If you can help me with it~~! please post your message!

Hi,
I found a small plugin which puts in a 4 second silence between tracks in Winamp. This enables it to work with MD Sync. I don't know how to link to the page in here but if you just go to the plugins page on the winamp site and search for 'Mini Disc' then it comes up with 4 programs which are used for MD recording. Hope this helps. |

Hi ^^
Thank You!! I think the MD track generater is useful~~~ but I am using C-Medis SoundCard(Winfast 6x sound with optical output)! personally I am using Winamp3, and using a plug-in call Winamp 2x plugins(can use winamp2 pulg-in in winamp3)~ find that not work! or maybe wrong setting! In MD recording! we have few options! 1. Mic HDES 2. Digital HDES (work SYNC/SYNC-1) <-o Optical cable 3. Analog HDES (any analog connection) <---with the above plug-in, they should work fine with this mode! but not in digital HDES. Digital has less noise then Analog recording! it means better quality. Keep it coming! Please, I still not able to make it work with secound option! |

Hi
You posted in the Winamp 2.x Plugins forum that's why I gave you a list of Winamp 2.x plugins. Winamp3 doesn't use plugins, it uses components, and there's a big difference. To use Winamp 2.x General Purpose or DSP/FX plugins in Winamp3, you will need to first install the Winamp 2 Plugin Manager for Winamp3, and then use this to port over the Winamp 2.x plugins. This is further explained in the Winamp3 FAQ You may also need to change the Output Device from analog to optical in the DirectSound Output Converter config, though I'm not really sure about this, not sure at all. Maybe you need to configure your sound card/device to use digital/optical output only. ?!?! Seeing you also cross-posted in the Winamp3 Tech Support forum (which was the correct place to post, not here) this discussion can now be continued there. Please read the forum rules concerning crossposting. *whacked* |
