Using winamp record MD with SYNC mode !! no way to work yet!

Hi

I find no way to use Winamp record songs to MD with SYNC mode! (using optical cable to record the sounds to MD!!) and I am not able to find any plug in for it as well, I think this is a simple feature which should be include in winamp, just a suggustion. ^^ RealOne Gold work with SYNC.

i find winamp is a very good tools and lot of cool plug-in to work with! but in the component page, it's like abit not organized. hard to find somthing~ need to take lots of time!

Suggustion:
Make table chart for different plug-in (DSP/effect, input, output, or more and else) each table chart has name, short description, rated, downloaded times, else without a BIG PHOTO(it save download time, for non ADSL/cable user!) then people can click it in and browser more details of the Plug-in if they want it!

here is a link about using PC record MD
http://www.minidisc.org/part_links.html#mp3

If you can help me with it~~! please post your message!

actually all u need to do is to plug the md into the output of your sound card, if i am not mistaken. then u just play the song on winamp3 and then record on the player.

In case u did not know realone gold cost money. winamp3 is free.

Big-assed signature deleted by errr.. whats his name again??

Hi ^^

Thank You!! Please read my other post as well!
http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....853#post930853

In MD recording! we have few options!
1. Mic HDES
2. Digital HDES (work SYNC/SYNC-1) <-- Optical cable
3. Analog HDES (any analog connection) <---Which is what you method just plug it in and works!

Digital has less noise then Analog recording! it means better quality.
Keep it coming! Please,
I still not able to make it work with second option

Hi

To DJegg! ^^ it was a mistake~ i posted the wrong message~ so I posted it again in winamp3 forum.

Refer to http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....339#post931339
I was thinking about the same think of DirectSound Output converter config, if you are talking about the one which is inside the winamp3. I try but it didn't work. and one thing, if needs to enable the Digital recording, I am sure has to disable the crossfader in Audio Setting!

by the way, I find, SYNC mode request to receive stop singal for each sound track. All you need to do is, push the stop buttom then it will record the song within the silence gap 2 secounds(MD recording technic), if more then 2 secounds, it will then make another song begin!! Maybe you can ask Winamp3 to develop the feature later! Maybe it has somthing to do with DirectSound Output or maybe not. But RealOne player does not have to config anything, and it works~~~~~~ just Winamp sounds better~~~~~ !!!!!!

make a 2 second .wav file of silence and put it inbetween your songs - bing! problem solved.

or just download realplayergold, and find a crack for it somewhere...

try www.planetminidisc.com for advice on MD stuff, people are fairly helpful there

Hi

Many thanks~ ^^ to kyojin~~ But I think 2s slience wav wouldn't work in digital recording, it needs to receive stop signal. if analog recording, it sure works~ but not with digital mate !!!!
